PRESENTATION

The free application "THE ELETTRONIC MUSIC" is an interactive multimedia software for Windows that tells the story of the birth of electronic music, that compositional experience, born at the end of the forties, which was the first to explore the potential offered by technology in the field of creation artistic/musical.

The application, exploiting the potential of digital, allows us to better clarify the concepts examined, with the help of photographs, videos and musical pieces.

 

WHO IS IT AIMED AT?

All those who love music and electronics may find this work useful and interesting:

 • the neophyte, who wishes to approach electronic music by acquiring its key concepts;

 • the music student, who will be able to use this product as a text for subjects related to the history of music;

 • the expert, who will be able to find useful insights into what he already knows.

 

TECHNICAL FEATURES

The application works directly, without requiring installation.

It is compatible with all versions of Windows.

It features a simple and intuitive graphical interface.

 

INTERFACE

Navigation between the screens is done via a simple menu divided into chapters and paragraphs, accompanied by photos, videos and audio files (see photo below).

The acoustic map (paragraph 4.4) contains the list of the main electronic music works, ordered chronologically, of which it is possible to listen to extracts.

 

DOWNLOAD AND LAUNCH

To download the app "The Electronic Music" for free, just click on the link below. Once this is done, extract the contents of The_Electronic_Music.zip file (about 430 MB) into a folder of your choice and start the file "- The Electronic Music".
